If you have a lot of equipment or bulky items, or want to share the storage, then a 40ft container of around 12 metres offers more volume. If you are torn between two sizes, choose the larger one, as extra space costs relatively little.

The point of attention is condensation: place furniture on pallets clear of the floor, provide ventilation grilles and load everything in dry. For sensitive household goods, insulation and a desiccant help to counter moisture further.
Yes. A shipping container is an excellent base for a garden room. For a comfortable living space, the walls, roof and floor are insulated and windows, a personnel door, electrics and lighting are added. HEROX carries out these modifications in its own workshop before delivery, so you receive a ready-to-use garden room on location.
For most touring caravans a 20ft container of roughly 6 metres is enough, provided you count in the drawbar. If you also want to store a motorbike, bikes or garden furniture alongside the caravan, or fit several vehicles, a 40ft container of roughly 12 metres offers ample room. If in doubt, go for the larger size.
In practice almost never. Thanks to its low, heavy and compact shape, a container stands stable, especially when loaded. An empty container on a slippery or sloping surface is more vulnerable and can shift in extreme wind. Place it on a flat, paved surface and anchor it if needed via the corner castings to remove any risk.
